Recommend a Trimmer

Anyone know an excellent trimmer to complete all the leather work on my high quality DAX (Seats, Dash, Door cards etc) + do all the carpet work (without using the 3,000 piece kit)?

I'm prepared to travel for the right finish but would prefer near Oxford.

(I know it's been asked before but I want up to date recommendations not - "there was a guy in Chipping Wotsit that did a great job on my AK in 1954"!)

Thanks guys n gals

Re: Recommend a Trimmer

Dax have their trim sets mad by The trim Shop in Redditch. I'm sure they would make a cracking job if you took your car to them and told them you want a really special job doing.
If you want a different style ask them what they can do. And they're quite close to you.

Good luck.

Re: Recommend a Trimmer

My mate just had his Marcos trimmed by Neil Tadman. Also fitted his hood. Very pleased with it.
He's done a lot of specials hot rods etc. He had said he did quit a few cobras for a local company(Essex area).
Do a search you'll find some of his work.
Or phone him on 01702530930.
John.

Re: Recommend a Trimmer

We got our entire interior including steel framed seats from Richfield Vehicle Seating in Nottingham.

Their number is 01159 673 020.

It was a 6 hour round trip for us but well worth it, their work is excellent.

John

Try Aldridges in Wolverhampton. They do all sorts including loads of classic cars. Cannot fault their work although they all seem high on evostick to me :thumb:
