GD build update

I won't say what chassis number I'm building as I believe many have been bought finished and sold more recent cars since I started

Most of the body is done, just got N/S pipe to finish off.
Just making carpet patterns (Black)
I'm making a traditional style single roll hoop with angled 3rd brace, flat bottomed dash original style Instruments, with lots of black interior.
Can't afford wheels yet but the rear axle is narrowed for a decent offset.
I have re-newed enthusiasm now that is starting to look like a car so aim to get it done this millennium:thumb:

Biggest job is trying to configure an air cleaner that'll squeeze under the scoop! Tried drop base this, spacer that, cut this, cut that........

Cheers,

Re: GD build update

Just for you! Don't think my mortar mix will be to your level but if I fart it remains standing!:thumb: Fancy mixing me the render?? Hard work by hand in this heat!
That was last months browny points, which reminds me that I must get on with the car before the next job comes in!!

See ya,

Re: GD build update

Hoping to SVA this winter then get it more like I want it and ready for next season, all being well.
Steve, I did the carpet templates tonight, Easy job if a little sweaty in the footwells with the heat! Cut them tomorrow then send them for binding.! Total for carpet set = zilch. Just about as much as us Yorkshire folk like to spend:thumb:

Cheers,
Lee
