adrian flux...do what?

how do i get a quote from adrian flux?
i asked them for a quote for agreed value. you'll need a valuation from the cobra club they said. ok says I, so can you give me a quote? yes when you have a valuation. i'll get one, but i know the value so can you quote me on this figure? no...
are they always like this , and does anyone insure with them?
the only company that will quote me a figure for agreed value is backford bloor but their quote seems a bit excessive
who do you all use
cheers

I have an agreed value policy with Adrian Flux.................in fact I have used them for 16 of the 17 years I have been insuring my cobra................I guess like all of these things it depends who you speak to on the day.
Two or three years ago after reading so many good things about Backford Bloor on this site I tried to get a quote from them. The service I got was poor and when I eventually got a quote it was high.

Cheers,

Re: adrian flux...do what?

Just renewed mine with Flux.
Photos can now be on disc rather than printed out. Having a Dax and living in Essex I had the ability of going to dax and getting a valuation from them. Perhaps you could contact the manufacturer.
Not sure how else you're supposed to do it.

The majority of you must know what it's cost to build and value of the Insurance you want to place on it, I went next door to my Local Vauxhall Dealers and told them the value I wanted.

Most garages will do the same, especially if you turn up in the Cobra.

Re: adrian flux...do what?

My (recently cancelled) insurance through flux was done agreed value with them just by me saying '£20,000' and i sent them a load of digi pics on a CD.Done.
Same day I got cover note emailed to me as a pdf, can't say fairer than that.
My only complaint with flux is when I cancelled (as I sold my cob) its going to take them '5-6 weeks to process your refund'
It didnt take that long to take the money off me when I took out the policy, so it does make me wonder how long a pay out would have taken take if Id ever claimed?
