Same here, I had a member of the Forum from Surrey visiting sunny Devon, he rang and asked if he could call in and have a look at the Cob, took him out for a blast, he has left with a big grin from ear to ear. :thumb:

Hi Robin, called in on DJ Sportscars and Craig kindly took my mate out for a flight in the 8 litre demonstrator( I've previously sampled it).
The expression on my mate's face upon their return was priceless.. we had a look round the factory, thanks to all their staff, fun day:thumb: Can't wait to drive a Cob myself, glad you enjoyed yourself(and the M&Ms)!

Rumour has it in years gone by you were allowed to drive the demonstrator yourself, before my time though................................Until someone crashed it and spoiled it for the rest of us!!

When I was looking for a Chimaera you'd see the fear in the eyes of TVR salesmen if you asked for a drive, quite a few Griffs etc ended up in ditches ..well, Tivs usually end up by the roadside..sorry guys
Think I'd need a Callard & Bowsers terrifically tasty toffee, or M&M, before driving that 8 litre Dax..
