What would be the ULTIMATE cobra engine

Here's one for discussion. What is the ultimate cobra engine.

I realise this could be seen from the point of view as to what was originally fitted ie 427 side oiler but with the modern day options and flexibility of fuel injection would an LS7 be the best.

Gloves on, no kicking or gouging!

Can of worms
IMHO
For originality - Ford 427
For drag racing - the torquiest(sp?) big block you can find
For the racetrack - LS7
For economy - LS1
Just to be different - anything you want :thumb:

I would have thought most things would struggle against an LS7, 505 bhp, 470 ft Ib of torque. :thumb: :thumb:

Just that price, circa £10k. Then again if they were cheap we'd all have one! :thumb:
