What are these things for???
Looking at some car pics and came across these gems, but didn't know what the two silver discs were on the bonnet of the black GT..any help????

Bonnet pins. Usually fitted to rally/race cars to stop the bonnet flying up at high speed.

I can't see any reason why not but the Cobra bonnet hinges in the opposite direction so need for them.

I am seriously considering fitting one at each corner and ditching the hinges! Ram hinges don't work apparently!
