Pre Built...
Hi All,

I have been veiwing the site for a while whilst trying to find out what kit would be right for me.

I have decided to go down the pre built route after building a Stratos for my neighbour and all the hassle I had with it. I don't think I'm patient enough to get the precision I would want. ( I am quite anal about the quality of what will be my pride and joy ).

I have never even been for a ride in a cobra let alone drive one, but I have loved the look of them for years.

It seems the kit and engine is all down to personal taste so I won't bore you al with the "what kit question". All I want is a stunning shiny car to drive to meets and the local pub in the summer, i'm not intrested in track use although obviously I want some horses to play with.

I am looking into a DB built Dax, I know Dave is a popular member on the site and I hope he doesn't mind me asking, but I was wondering if anyone had him build a car for them and how they found the experience. Do you wish you had built yourself after all. Are there any other pre built companies I can look into?

Many Thanks In Advance,

Cheers, Mark

He has one but I didn't build it for him. He's welcome to join in if he likes though.

You don`t have to be mental to build a kitcar - but it definitely helps.

I had the priveledge of working alongside Dave when I was doing my car. I can honestly say that Dave put the happy customer thing before profit And the quality of his build is exemplary. If I was to ever have one built he would be my first choice by a long stretch. There is only one down side though - subscription to looking over Daves shoulder is a jar of coffee.
