She STARTED!!!

Got my Ls1 started this morning!! lots of wires, swearing and tears later she burst into life, my home made engine loom works a treat... sounds amazing cant wait to get the rear boxs off!

got a few problems i need to sort out but nothing major i hope.

got shed loads of oil pressure , just proves that a cut out ls1 can and does work :drive: :drive:

huge thanks to Jim and Robin with there help over emails with my wiring loom. couldnt have dont it with out you !!!!:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Well done Ricky.
It feels like a milestone in a build once you've got the heart pumping..............No matter how many cars you've built.
I started one for the first time yesterday afternoon and drove it around the industrial estate about 20 minutes later. It passed SVA this morning.......Now that is cutting it fine!!!!

Yes alot longer.... but im doing some extra bits i didnt plan to do... i decided to strip the chassis down and rebuild to make sure it was done right. also the loom for the engine took alot longer too. but getting there.

god i love v8's... not so sure what my neighbours think :thumb:
