RE: Original colours????

With the SVA regulations it is impossible to build an exact rip-off any more, or even get close. So why not just paint it the colour you like best. Just a thought, not a criticism.

Who cares if the colour is original or not if it looks good, that's what I was trying to say... :*

RE: Original colours????

Sorry to disapoint you, but this pale blue is not the real colour,
It is just a tint in the primer so the sprayer can see where he is going. The finished colour is a closely guarded secret and to my delight was finished this afternoon.

Steve.

RE: Original colours????

Andy,
I probably will paint it something different, but with so much choice available its scary.
There are a few concerns and they are:_
Looking like someone elses!!! I like to be a bit different
Choosing the colour and then hating it when its done. Must be easily done!
Choosing a colour too personal to myself which would reduce the potential market to sell too!
Also by choosing the original colours at least you can guage whether the cars size, image and stance suits the colour.
I dont take your comment as a criticism as it is a valued comment.
Cheers

Markieboy could I just say I changed my mind on varrious blues some of which were Motor Bike colour about six times mate take your time!

As much as you like to be a bit different you will allways find another in the same colour as your own. None of the original 289-427 were the same, all had different bits and mods on them according too usage & stock availible Eric. (What does it matter anyway as long as you are happy with it?!)
