| Re: Good Idea Yep, could certainly see how some people may like this option. Certainly if you are without a trailer.... |

As the link to the website will show, there are a number of advantages to using this service, other than being ferried to and from an SVA test. Although you are allowed to drive to an SVA test, I still think it is safer to take your vehicle by low loader or trailor. Some will disagree with me, but that is their opinion. We already have a number of bookings and I was surprised as to how much interest has already been generated. To qualify the cost, I have to price for the following :- I drive a car transporter to the customers house, load and secure their vehicle, take them to their choice of SVA center, stop and fill up their fuel tank on the way, unload their car at the SVA center, stay with the customer throughout the test and assist when necessary, load the vehicle back onto the trailor, take them home, unload their car and then drive home. The average round trip mileage is around 150 miles and my time and the cost of Diesel is also included in the price. Regards, Ian British American Engines

| Re: Good Idea Do you have to have done business with BAE or BAD to take advantage or is it an open service. as having no trailor/car with T bar and living MILES away from an SVA center it sounds like a good idea. Especialy as i asume you car would be insured by the company insurance... so if you were planning on any mods to the car that wouldnt pass SVA you could get insurance after..... I can see this service being very help full to beople doing Seven replicas as well. John PS I have no business connections with BAE but ive chatted to ian on the phone and he seemed like a helpfull chap so im guessing they would be helpfull all the way.

Your car would be insured under my own trade policy, whilst in my care, custody and control and means that you can start your own insurance after your car is fully finished - if you know what I mean......
