British American Engines

I would like to say a big thankyou to Ian briggs and his engineers at British American Engines who supplied me with my chevy 350 ci. and tremec transmission .

The presentation and performance of the engine is outstanding, and Ian has bent over backwards to answer any questions that i have asked. He couldn't have been more helpful and i would highly recommend them to anyone who is considering buying or building a cobra.:thumb:

I can only agree with the helpfulness (is that a word) side of Ian. I am only in preliminary conversations with BAE at the moment and he has been nothing but open with me regarding options, purchasing and shipping etc. calling me up and having a great chat about things, emailing me brochures and giving me other contacts. He seem to have got his customer/client relationship spot on (nice fella to talk to aswell). Comes as a nice suprise in todays "cut'n'run" society.

James,

I did not know that you were MR Bling on the forum. It has always been one of my favourites and made me laugh when I first saw it.

Ian.

Re: British American Engines

I have also mentioned in many posts before the extraordinary professionalism, helpfulness, unbiased advice and superlative after sales service from BAE. I had made up my mind to use BAE before I had even met Ian and "the boys" from the info supplied on their website and other glowing reviews from other past customers. After meeting them all it was a "done deal" as they say. They may not be the cheapest but cheapest usually means second best, and you certainly get what you pay for with BAE, the icing on the cake was receiving an engine that I am loathe to put a bonnet over, massive grins every time I start it up and I havn't even driven it anywhere yet
