Finally got the Cobra registered
Now time for some serious shakedown miles! Exhaust baffles removed:thumb:

How did you get through SVA with Toggle switches ... or have they been swapped out since. Nice colour by the way

Thanks guys

Dale, toggle switches were removed for SVA. I made up a temporary lower dash panel loaded with rocker switches

Car was built to order for a French guy, hence left hooker

surly the coil should be upright for all the normal reasons especially as it is mounted to the engine.

Well spottedThey will work in this position, but can burn out early as there is normally an air gap between the oil and the case top. When on its side the windings can become exposed leading to isolated heat build up.Mike

Yes its an FE 390 stroked to 427ci-loads of torque-I don't think I need a gearbox

The engine was featured in this months issue of Kit Car Magazine
