Speeding - alas, not cobra related :-(

Oh dear, in trouble - again. . .

got a lovely letter today from the cambs constabulary:
"Failing to comply with a 60mph speed limit on a restricted road."

75mph in a 60. . . .
If they have pictures, it of the rear of the bike
how should i proceed???

advice greatly welcome

It depends really, I'd request the photos and see what they look like. You never know you could have lent your bike to a friend from America, he might have been driving when the bike was caught speeding but he's probably left to go home now so they may have to follow it up over there.

SLOWLY!!!

By the sound of it you've been done before, you should have learnt your lesson. 75 in a 60, thats 25% over the limit, I have no sympathy for you, you deserve to be caught at that speed. Pay the fine and take the points. If you play with fire then you get your hands burnt!

and what's the proceedure in this country?
as i'm not from the UK and have never been through the system here
& I also have a EU licence. . . .

My Son had a toy steering wheel which he used to spin furiously, making loads of go-faster noises, leaning into all the tight corners, perhaps running the government feels a bit like that. You make all the noises, but when you stop you haven't really gone anywhere.

Not EU licenses, as the systems haven't been integrated, other than France where points are sometimes enforced back in the UK.
