I'm all for that, if folks aren't interested in the build, then keep comments to themselves. Keep the questions relevant and reasonable. No need for old baggage to be brought into the garage here so to speak.

Re: Monty Simon Built A Python......

Hmmm.. I know that I’m not getting any younger, so my memory might be playing tricks on me – but the last time I saw this chassis I’m sure it was painted black! You see, I distinctly remember some blurb and a photo on the old www.cobra535.co.uk website of ‘”Si’s” chassis which he had “loaned” to RV for one of the Shows (Stoneleigh or Exeter ?) when his demo chassis was impounded by HM Customs (!) - I then saw same chassis in the flesh at said show, and have some recollection of the ghastly presentation – I’m sure it was covered in badly-applied black bitumen underseal. Now it’s back to bright galvanise!! He’s done a bloody good job with the Cillit Band it has to be said !! . Of course it might just be my memory – it’s now impossible to check as he’s taken the old website down – unless anyone still has a copy of the picture that I’m referring to ??

Pete.

Re: Monty Simon Built A Python......

...should read "Cillit Bang" & not "band" as I typed above. Bloody daft name for a cleaning product anyway.

Pete.
