Pilgrim package for sale

Check out ebay item no 290053499690.

Just the thing of your thinking of starting a build ready for next summer and want to save some time and effort.

Will end auction early if anyone on the club is interested.

Re: Pilgrim package for sale

I actually thought of putting this reason in the orignal post as I thought this would be asked.

Basically I have endless amounts of donor cars and V5 documents now so I want to try and release some space and parts and save a renewal of a SORN and some paperwork. I can obtain discount on a chassis and thought if I put a package together like listed much the same as pilgrim do but at a lower cost I can not only free up some bits but start someones own project off at the same time.

If I just list stripped granada parts it is unlikely they would sell so by listng a chassis and parts all involved are Happy. Even Pilgrim who get to turnover more stock.

Re: Pilgrim package for sale

The idea is that the buyer collects. If they dont you have to consider a man driving, fuel, trailer, insurance etc so all of a sudden 50P per mile doesnt sound alot

Re: Pilgrim package for sale

Anthony,

A good idea of yours, as it turns some stock over at this time of year and will make a nice starter project for someone.

50p a mile is a very good price, as most car haulers aim to charge around a £1 a mile.

Ian.

Ditto.
£1 per mile (One way though). A trip to Dax for me is 170 miles(One way).
Drivers wages £60 (He'll be out for the best part of 8 hours).
Fuel £60.
Tolls £15.
This leaves £35 for the day for insurance and wear and tear. Not what you'd call making a killing!
