Any Cobra drag race fans in the house?

Hello wonder if there are any CRC members who may follow drag race'n in the UK & Europe happen to know the fastest 1/4 mile E.T. & MPH a Cobra has done it in to date...your side the pond.

If you are talking street legal then I would think the Weineck Cobra has to be up there www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDE2jqyFmNA.

You will need to brush up your German to get the full details but I'm sure the pictures will tell the story.

I can't find a quarter mile time for the beast so you will have to use your imagination.

I'm only aware of one current drag race prepped Cobra - driver is Ashley Bell but I can't find any times or info on it.

Thanks for the link Steve...don't know a dang word he's say'n but the vid tells all huge BHP is a universal ... they've got some bad A engines i see the Germans like NOS and mech FI....and huge cube engines...pricey but very nice indeed
Seems they got the translation ..there's no replacement for displacement all figured out.
Oh yes i did find Ashely Bell on Euro Drag site..looks like mid 8 sec 1/4 mile ET's & 150 / 160 MPH's is the range Ashely's running... not bad for a small block Cobra...yep it's a Chevy..... Cheers! Dr.Dee

1,100 BHP/1,300 Ft Lb with those exhausts? I think not somehow. I doubt you could get 700BHP to breath through those pipes. Maybe on the Dyno with different pipes.
