Willans Harness - Best Price

Hi all

Having just got my Buggy back from the Paint Shop and almost finished building her up I am now chasing a Pair of Willans Harness`s

I want the 3" Shoulder and 2" Lap with Aircraft Style Fastener

I have seen then in Europa but wondered did anyone know of a cheaper place to purchase

Also what Harness do you use and how do you find them

Any advise appreciated

Try one of the motor sports outlets, Merlin Motorsports at Castle Combe in Wilts are good, or even Demon Tweekes on 01978 663070. Generally you will find the motorsports guys cheaper, more knowledgeable and certainly more customer oriented than the catalogues.

You could also ring Stockbridge Racing on 01264 810712/810151 who are the people who make Willans Harnesses - they are in the High St Stockbridge, Hants. They do sell direct but won't undercut their cheapest retailers so are at least as cheap as the best.

I have just purchased a pair of Willans Harness for my Dax from Raceparts in Wallingford Oxon,they offered the best price and service. The telephone number for them is 01494 822000 or e-mail sales@raceparts.co.uk.

Buy from Willans Direct. They make them to suit, you have to fill in an order form with all the measurements and you get them a week later. You can have almost any type you want.They have a web site but I can't remember the address. (it takes some finding)

Hi all

Thanks for the advise
I have phoned Stockbridge who manufacture the harness`s and they are going to make me a tailored pair with Alluminium adgusters
They may be pricet but their Made To Measure
I have binned trhe Inertias and its Harness`s all thye way
In the short term a mate of mine has lent me a set of 3 point Willans which are very good however 4 point with Aircraft Fastners will be a lot easier to get into
