Detling

Well, I went to Detling on Sunday and it was all right, but nothing special.

One question I have, the yellow Hawk which is in race livery, has it ever been anywhere near a circuit or is it just a polisher?

My Son had a toy steering wheel which he used to spin furiously, making loads of go-faster noises, leaning into all the tight corners, perhaps running the government feels a bit like that. You make all the noises, but when you stop you haven't really gone anywhere.

Can you send them over to me, as we need something other than Dax, Pilgrim and GDs in the gallery.

RE: Detling

It is the yellow racer at Zonder I am particularly after.

RE: Detling

I went to the show for the first time on Saturday but I was disappointed; what exactly did I pay £8.00 for? There was hardly anything going on, and I did not see any show organisers or marshals (other than on the gate) around so nothing seemed to be in order.

The best thing about the day was the early ride over there with my dad in the Caterham; it was perfect weather for a blast through the countryside!

Ok, I have had my moan...
