Yes indeed good vid to watch... and what a beast that 700 cid engine is
producing massive BHP & torque....i can only guess @ the price there asking
since my French is very limited good only for hello & good bye and another pint please and thanks...anyhow my guess is $50,000+ USD...anyone else bother to guess or know?
As far as monster engines go we are in the process of finish'n up a very B/A
BBC 565cid for an AK Cobra in the UK with a targeted BHP level of 800 + BHP....she's no where near as exstreem as that German beast..and nowhere near as complicated. she's just loaded with hardcore USA race parts installed in a Dart Big M block with a custom roller cam with Pro-Comp 360 cc heads CNC ported to the max and other induction latest tricks.
It would be very interesting to see a heads up race @ Santa-Pod between the two... humm... i'd fly in for that one....you never know.
Cheers! Dr,Dee

So thats $600,000 USD.... i'm sorry but no matter how i do the math and if i were to fly to every manufactor by Lear Jet to nearest airport and then pick up parts in stretched Bentley limo and stay over night @ Hiltion Hotel penthouse suites...Dam it would be a lot'a fun.. hell i'd give Mr.Trump a call to come along for the ride!.....ha
Anyhow even with these perks i can could not spend $600,000 USD on this engine..... it's a joke right?

Cheers! Dr,Dee

Hello Chris.... no problem i had an afterthought that $600,000 USD was a tad high for this engine... i guess then for ball park figures $100,000 gets you the roll'n chassis... then that leaves approx $500,000 USD for the cost of the drive line eg stroked BBC and Richmond 6 speed trans with multi clutch kit.
Well now that's a lorry load / Peterbuilt truck load of dead presidents / dosh...and i still can't find the figures to justify the price @ $500,000+ USD...but hey if there's buyers what the heck... hummmm maybe a satilite Fastco Auto engine shop should be opened up in Germany....i've love to retire in a couple years anyway..ha ha
Regards Dr,Dee
PS: Not to compare because we could argue all day..but our BBC 565 cid
roller engine @ approx 800 BHP ships out the door @ $13,800 USD..that would leave approx $486,200 USD to find approx 300 BHP in the engine and load Richmond trans and Crower race clutch in the box... i think i could achieve that on this budget but it would be tight... ha ha.
