| Road Charging Petition No idea if this has been added before but thought youo may all be interested and willing to sign - I already did. Road Charging Petition  I have received information on the above from a number of sources. Essentially, there is an opportunity to add your name to an on-line petition on No 10's website to protest at any proposal to implement a road-charging scheme. Reading various thoughts on the matter, it seems that some people are sceptical about the prospect of it happening, the scale of charges being talked about, and the value of the petition, but without wanting to politicise the website, it seems only right to publicise the petition's existence. See it on the link here. Deadline 20 Feb 2007, signed so far over 540,000. (Others may be interested in another petition to change the date for historic vehicle tax exemption - click here. Deadline 31 May 2007, signed so far about 3100.)
