RE: CRC Forum Security

Robert,

No it wasn't sent to test@agsite.co.uk, but if it had been that would prove my point exactly. Emails sent to other addresses arrive in the Raima postmaster account! I can forward the email to anyone who is interested so they can see for themselves that it wasn’t address to me.

RE: CRC Forum Security

No, it was sent to test@raima.co.uk, see attached, now go away.

Correct routing, no issues so stop bullshitting.

And if you try and login using that user, you can't because the user account has been disabled.

RE: CRC Forum Security

Does anybody actually give a toss about this? with the amount of dodgy emails that I get through everyday anyway i couldnt give one if a few more turn up on my doorstep.

For whats its worth, if this site wasnt so bl**dy brilliant then I wouldn't have bothered building a cob (cause I couldnt) and thats all down to guys like Rob and co. who give it a real good name
thanx to all them.....

RE: CRC Forum Security

Robert or Andy, tell me why, when one of my customers sends a mail to a list in their address book, I get all of them? One (correctly addressed) comes to my inbox (Tobit) and the rest (addressed to other people on the list) come into my undistributed box.
The sender can't find anything that would make this happen at their end!
My reason for asking is that I might understand more about the e-mail issues you guys have, and also possibly find out why I get this problem.
Cheers,
Neil.

Neil

So if there are 10 people on the list, do you get 1 to you and then 9 to a different account.

RE: CRC Forum Security

Agree with Ben on this one

Everyone is in agreement (inc. Andy) that Robert does a great job and how he manages to persevere in the face or a series of posts like this one is a never-ending surprise to me

However, my tuppence worth is that if a site is insecure I would like to know but I don't want to be involved in or hear about a slagging match like this has turned out to be .. Both parties overstepped the mark to some extent and need to shake hands and retire to their respective corners .. Is very easy to click 'Send' on a mail/post and have it mis-interpreted ot taken the wrong way at the other end .. Nuff said

Anyway, don't sit in front of your keyboards all day brooding over negative thoughts .. Tis summer outside so go for a drive ..

Hard top off now after a cold and wet winter .. Blasting round the empty roads last night was enough to keep me smiling until I started reading this post

Let's just move on and remember why we own (or are building) these things in the first place

Enjoy

Chris

Well said Chris. Now can we get on with building cars and insulting the French.
