Mike & Clive

Give me a bit of time to get this sorted out please, navigation will change for the better in the very near future as I hack more things about and make it more of a home for us.

Sorry mate, I do appreciate all the hard work.

Will the Membership list be alphabetical or will you still have to trawl through to find a name.

Guys

If you could give me some more informative feedback it would be good. If its the look, then ignore it as that will be changed.

If its the functionality, then please let me know what doesn't work and what sort of things you would like to see.

Thanks

Whos online is at the bottom of the index page - http://autos.ninebean.com/cobraclub/forum/index.php and the buddies list will be integrated with the friends system when the guys have sortd it out properly.

There are some teething troubles with the group system which is why its ot all sorted yet. There will be a WYSIWYG interace on the posting body that will help when posting and hopefully a quick reply.

The video upload function is currently view only but will be up and running for user uploads next week. Upload limit is set to 100Mb, and if you do it right, thats 40 minutes worth of video in a good resolution.

With regard to the speed, the server that we are sharing has 4 processors, and 8Gb of ram and a couple of Gigabit connections to the internet, hence its speed. Thankfully, I am not paying for it as that sort of set-up costs about £800 a month.

I have a barter system with the owners of the site, basically I do some coding and design stuff for them and they give me free hosting.

One other small thing.

Yesterday I posted a post in the Dax technical questions about door catches.
The pictures I posted seem to be missing and I put a link on there to another Thread. The link now no longer works.

I'm sure the original thread has been moved here but its just that the link is now looking in the wrong place.

Any ideas, Or shall I find that original post again and post the new direct link.

Craig.

I am currently working in the inline attachments, in terms of the link, you will be able to edit your original post. I have removed the time limit as it seemed to get on peoples nerves.

Rob

Thanks for all your efforts.

One thing is that previously I could see the first lines of each thread by simply passing the cursor over the title. Now I have to open each thread to see if I want to read it !! Can this be changed ?

Also, and this may be just me, I seem to have to keep refreshing each page and thread to see the latest posting etc. This happened before the transitionso may be my set up. Any idea's ?

Paul
