My Son had a toy steering wheel which he used to spin furiously, making loads of go-faster noises, leaning into all the tight corners, perhaps running the government feels a bit like that. You make all the noises, but when you stop you haven't really gone anywhere.

I remember the last time we changed forum.

Everyone hated it at first but we all got used to it, and Rob made it a lot easier to use than the previous forum.

I,m sure this will end up as a change for the better and Rob has my support.

If you are still taking donations for the upkeep of the forum can you please point me in the right direction so I can contribute.

Thanks again.

Craig.

Thanks very much. Now we have moved here we have negligable costs. The donations I have received to date will pay for some of the hosting, unfortunately when you get to the size we have you need quite a bit of bandwidth.

Jesus - get over it man. It's a web forum that's costing you NO money. Give the lad a chance to sort it out.

I can't see anything at all wrong with it personally - it's a fairly standard format. "We don't like anything new round here you know" - FFS

Took me a while to get on but I'm here now.
The link I found for the ninebean password is in one of your posts dated Jun 01, 2004 which confused me somewhat.

Signature font size was initially set to 2 - I've now upped it to 12. Not sure if this will be a general setting for all - if it is I assume a global change can be made by yourself.
Will there eventually be choice of font?

Hope it works out OK once we've all got used to it.

If we're on nine bean I trust that doesn't make me a has bean

lost mail

agree with the above - we'll get used to it.

I seem to have lost several personal messages, actually all of 2007.

Hi Rob, getting a bit "thin" skinned in your old age :P

Thought the site had been hi-jacked at first, wasn't expecting it but remembdered in the back of my mind a post yesterday about going off-line last night. The main problem was that it took quite a while to get the post about loss of passwords as I was directed to the site via a link to view a pm (I cannot find the new pm by the way) I was going around the houses for ages trying to find the problem.....hence the start of this post.....but it was made in jest

There will be inevitable teething problems and they will get sorted with time, you DO have my support.

As regards Kayjayd......lighten up m8, I would never try to purposely upset anyone.

Having started to process at 11:00pm and not finishing it until about 07:00am this morning, the sense of humour takes a bit of a back seat.
