As far as I know - the TomTom One Europe only has european maps over the One. You can buy the maps extra on the TT website.

I recently bought a Go510 because it has hands free calling which the One doesn't, but that is about it... You can still use any of the TT plus services on the One.

The Go710 is like the Go510, but has all european maps... I bought the 510 as it was only about £35 more than the one (due to Xmas sales and tax free airports shopping) but the price is quite a lot more now I think...

Hope that helps...

I bought a Tomtom 700 with european maps. The maps were accurate but I have found the navigation in Ireland, Germany and the UK to be absolute pants.
Every time I know the way I check if it would have been correct and it has not once been correct. (eg Cardiff to Southampton via London)
I am convinced that Tomtoms entire marketing budget is spent on posting fake rave reviews on review websites.
If you still want one make me an offer.

Tomtomone!

I looked at all of em, and in the end bought tomtomone, easy to use (Ive never ever opened the instructions so easy to use).
Use mine every day for work, and my mileage has dropped! Yes it does occasionally send you a strange way, but for finding obscure factories, all I ever need now is a postcode, Ive chucked my 20yr collection of a-z's in the bin too.
Just be very careful you put the correct postcode in and double check it, as its easy to mistype it and end up in the worng place.

Best £160 I ever spent (I didnt need hands free as I already have in the car.

Ed youre either a walking talking map book or very unlucky, mine has been brilliant, and I just didnt want satnav until I borrowed one!!

I live in a small village called Woodgreen in the New Forest, in the last 12 months we have had 2 artics from overseas one looking for Next and the other a Florist, both wanted Wood Green in London. Only 90 miles and 5 hours up the M3/M25 out

Luckily both were from Spain and had landed at Plymouth and so we not too far out of their way.

Whatever sat nav you but make sure it has current mapping supplied with it.

Someone purchased one (not Tom Tom) & queried out of date maps.
Manufacturer told him maps were OK at time of manufacture but he would be charged extra to upgrade to those at the time of purchase.

Well, I have been using a TomTom One for a while, and really am very pleased with it.

You have to understand the routing logic it applies, if you input "fastest route " it will move hell and high water to get you onto an A road or Motorway, sometimes defies local knowledge. However, it has never lead me astray nearer to the destination yet, and is bloody invaluable for my "know roughly where I am going but not the exact street/district of my destination" type driving.

Also very good speed camera database for very few pennies from www.pocketgpsworld.com
