Not sure the best way of enticing future Kit car customers is to tell everyone how much money you have made from the business. The fact that you have 7 weeks holiday and a house in Florida would only make me think how much over the top is he charging for their cars.

Sorry - is there something wrong with making a profit?

If he has put 20 years into that business, then one Florida house is not a huge return.

The selling price would seem to undermine any indications of huge bottom lines anyway - usually, a ballpark multiple would be that a business sells for up to 10 times earnings.

Nothing wrong with making a profit. After all that's why we all work for a living.
Just think that part of the advert would be best kept to himself. Any serious buyers would have a look at the books anyway to see for themselves whether it is a worthwhile investment or not.

Probably more interested in the current order book than past profits.

Didn't they use to make a cobra copy as well?

Craig.

Having completed work on the Monza (ferrari 30 rear light and manufacturing them for a period of time I now just how much commitment Steve put into his business. I only hope that he gets a fair price for his business and a happy retirement.
