How can you possibly not like top gear.

Last week, excellent, even if some of it is staged.

Have you noticed how every challenge they do, they manage "independantly" to pick a nice spread of cars? In the Italian one, a Ferrari, Lambo and Maserati, the american one, a sports car, a pick up and a luxury saloon, the porsche one, a 944, 928 and 924?

The coupe show, an English, Jap and German Car.

Either way it's brilliant. Not much to do with actual motoring though...

I've just watched it as I've done for years and I honestly think the Top Gear Team have lost the plot.

Who the f*** wants to watch a Reliant Robin being launched into space and a Barabus Merc that doesn't handle and what the f*** is this cool wall all about.

Come on Top Gear, get back to basics.

Very true they have lost the original plot, but for the better, not only is it about cars but makes you laugh as well, its just 3 guys doing very silly things, brilliant!

Thing is Mike, us petrolheads need every extra ally we can get these days; Jezza and chums have persuaded FEMALES towards our cosy little world, and though they must be entertained with the odd pointless exercise, no matter; gets 'em on our side.
Brabus most powerful drop top ever? What about CS's supercharged (800 horse) 427 s/c..
I agree with Ricky, these three 'erberts are championing our cause..just need a Cob on the show one night.

Paul/runt.

Showing your age Ricky

It has turned into a most infantile programme, talk about toys for boys, the stunts are absolutely ridiculous, It used to be a programme which gave information about new cars, safety standards and performance etc, It has now become a showcase for the most stupid behaviour.

very little to do with real cars though that the average person either wants or can afford.

I don't really bother watching it now but who really can afford a 60 grand car that will be ok for the wife and kids only for them to say its this or that or it's only got 300hp or it doesn't handle to well at 120mph round corners. For F***s sake who really gives a 5hit if it's your family car.Thats why we own cobras.
