My Future mode of power, any thoughts?

Just a few questions, Ive got an LT77 Gearbox already however the engine I purchased seems to have come with an LT77 also, Is this box still useable in any way bearing in mind it's rigged for four wheel drive!? Also what sort of ball ache am I in for reconditioning this engine. Your tips tricks and feedback are welcome!

(Just a side note to get the picture to upload correctly I changed the picture resolution to 72dpi which I believe is screen resolution and that worked.)

LT77 4 wheel drive has pretty much same internals as the 2 wheel drive apart from the rear plate where it joins to the transfer box.

I believe they are also slightly stronger than the standard so change the rear end and should be OK

Engine wise assuming it's the rover V8??

Not too much of a grind to strip and rebuild. there are more knowledgeable people on here for that advice. I have just rebuilt mine and am awaiting the guts to run it up...

Stripped and rebuilt my Rover V8.
I would rate this as the easiest engine I have ever worked on, certainly the most pleasurable.
You must use an engine stand, but otherwise I don't recall any special tools being needed. And all the nuts and bolts are of a decent size, even if you do need AF spanners

Makes sense and the good thing Is I do have a spare LT77 but it is suffix C which may be a problem? Not sure how this will work? The engine is a 1989 3.5l V8 EFI.

Does anybody know the compatability of the lt77 gearboxes as far as suffix "C" goes onto this box not sure what it is as I haven't got the engine yet it comes tomorrow. But it came out of a Range rover (1989) any idea what suffix this will make it?
