Coil Springs

Hello,

I have a mark 2 Pilgrim, can anyone tell me what size coil springs fit the front. I think it was originall fitted with Cortina springs because it sits very high. I would like to lower it to a sensible height. At the moment I have 5 inches between the top of the wheel and the arch. I says in the old Pilgrim manual front springs should be a softer rating at 120lb. Can anyone give me some advice about what springs to put on to lower it. It is fitted with Spax adjustable shocks.

Thanks Chris

Hi Mr Bidd

Pilgrim specified a different front spring depending on which engine is fitted. When I spoke to them last year about my MK 2 Sumo, they could still supply springs but not off the shelf.

Regards Stu.

Would be worth contacting Chimera as he had great problems with his Pilgrim springs and is now an expert.

He is at Wellington Somerset so isn't that far away from you
