1/4 mile drag at Elvington

Hi,
Just finished slotting the T5 box into my Cobra, gonna get to Elvington in it ( Hopefully! ). If my propshaft ever turns up!
Anyway, anyone know what the damage will be for the 1/4 mile at the big meet? I'm assuming that a helmet will be required and clothing to fully cover the driver, I just fancy having a blast in a straight line for a laugh!!!

Regards,

Ian.

Hi Snakey.
If you have a big power Yank engine in you'r car be careful you don't break the T5 if you are drag racing....................They do have their limitations.

Dave,
No big Yank lump for me! I've got a tinkered with RV8 in mine, the T5 should be good enough for my little car!!!!!!!!

Regards,

Ian.

RE: 1/4 mile drag at Elvington

I have been drag racing with my T5 box for 3 years now & still going strong. It is coping with reasonable power from my RV8 & NOS setup.
This year running supercharged & Nos. Box still not showing any signs of problems.
