no Neil - not 171 divided by 2, but 17 and a half.

Very trim fighting weight for a man of my size!

Cobra's for tall drivers.........

Hi, I am 6' 5" and 16 stone, I have owned a Viper but sold after 2 years due to lack of leg room even after cutting pieces off the dash and making 1" thick seats! I now own a Mk3 Pilgrim and removed the standard Pilgrim bucket seats. I made a template of the rear bulk head and sent it to Richfield who made me a pair of very nice seat to match the rake of the rear bulk head. Problem solved. I thought before the seats I may also need the pedals cranked but this was not necessary. Dax offer a 2" extended chassis for an extra Ģ200 and Pilgrim now offer a lowered chasiss but this can make the problem worse as the lower you sit the straighter your legs! I also tryed a Python but my eyes looked over the windscreen. The problem with the Python is that the floorpan sits on top of the chassis hence the seating position is very high. just for the record my Pilgrim pasted the SVA 1st time last week (03-04-07) with the custom made seats fitted (no runners fitted). The examiner even made comment to the amount of room in the Cobra........Cheers Dave. (SE London/Kent - Sumoboy)

I (6,3) went for the Dax DeDion with extended drivers footwell and I even donīt need to set the seat on last backward position. Nor dash or steering wheel contact (with the legs ) is a problem.
