Stoneleigh
Having returned to the Kit-Car world after a break of 4 years I have to say I was dissapointed with the show. I built and owned an SRV8 and went to the show to decide on my next project. Before the show it was either going to be another Cobra or an Ultima spyder. I thought the manufacturers stands were poorly presented; I remember in the mid 90's the show being very proffesional with almost production car like stands. The only stands I was impressed with were Daves Dax build stand ( his cars on display were outstanding and of a far higher quality than Dax's own), likewise the Crendon stand had a superb example on display and the Hawk (would have liked to see more of their own cars as well as the outstanding Kirkham Replicas). The Ultima stand was poor and it has become a toss up between a Hawk 289 FIA and a Crendon.
