kit car shows

OK so i have now missed Stoneleigh- not sure how- i was certain that it was at the END of May- bit of a homer moment though- getting confused with Elvnigton.

Anyway on to my question proper- i can't go to Elvington unfortunately (pity as i would love to have met some of you guys and to have seen you motors "in the flesh"), so i was wondering if anyone could tell me when the next "big" kit car show is and where. Really want to be able to see a selection of different cobs next to each other, and (apart from Elvington) a show is the only place i can think of. Any ideas anyone?

cheers
Jim

RE: kit car shows

So much for getting dates mixed up!

I know somebody that turned up at Elvington on the wrong Bank Holiday weekend!

Guilty!

Contrary Mary

Newark is on 21-22 June Jim,

Donington is 13-14th September with track action, not that I would recommend any of that connected with a show. Paid £180 last year for the day!! Very badly run by Which Kit, arrived at 8:30 to sign on, no one arrived till 10:30. then they let all the 7 types out for twenty five quid 4 laps, miles to many cars, also spinning of with monotonous regularity, only was able to get a couple of laps in at a time as the red flag was always out!!
