SVA weights?

I'm filling out my SVA form at the moment and wondered what people have put in the weights section.
The weight listed for the original SRV8(as mine not a Madgewick) was 1090kg. How close do you have to be?
The form requires axle design weights. I would think that these would be quite high being jaguar front and rear.
I have 5litre ford with T10 box.
Anyone advise?
John.

I used the figures quoted in the Dax SVA manual for a small block powered car.

These were......

Max permitted weights...

Front axle 620Kg
Rear axle 820Kg
Gross 1440Kg

The actual figures at the SVA for my car were

Front 608Kg
Rear 690Kg

Fairly closs to the Dax figures on the front axle so it may be best to add a bit to the figures you put down for a safety margin.

Even better would be to get the car weighed front and rear, Then add 100Kg or so to each of your figures and put this on the form.

Craig.

Mine came in at 1150 overall, cant remember the split though, and that was an original SRV8 as well.

I spoke with the SVA people only last week about this issue. As stated by other people here it is not critical, your paper figures have to be higher than weighed figures. SVA people suggested it is not the best route to weigh it physically and add on the extra weight.
It has been suggested that if i use the GD figures it will not be too fat out (600kg axle 1, 750Kg axle 2, total 1350Kg).
Cheers
Kevin

Thanks guys,
The DAX, AK and SR must be similar so the following figures I have from this post and AK manual. If anyone knows what Madgewick advise that would be good.
The AK manual states Axle 1 - 638kg, Axle 2 - 780kg and a total of 1400kg.
Craggles Dax is a chevy 350 so that is heavier than 302 ford.
Think I might use the following figures as a worst case.
640kg axle 1 and 820kg axle 2 total as 1400kg( a lot heavier than it will be by the looks of things.
Think these figures should see me OK.
As an aside, because there was more weight on the rear axle I know one guy was told this was not correct by the SVA inspector but he would not supply the actual figures and why it wasn't going to pass. After a few words and a visit to his office by himself the SVA inspector then said he would pass it but it was very close to failing. Again he would not state why.
John.

The SVA weights are "Design weights" (Estimated weight of vehicle when full of liquids, passengers and luggage) and not just the vehicle weights.
As mentioned above the Dax Design weights for a small block are 620, 820, 1440. The actual vehicle weight is closer to 1130 for a fully dressed car sat on the scales.
I'd go with something around the Dax figures for the SR.
