| then it occurred to me. How the hell do you wash a Cobra without the cockpit getting sopping wet? You Don't !!!!!!!!

| I only wash the cobra if its muddy or got wet, and then very carefully, just to get the cack off it, with not too much water so you dont get it in the cockpit. Other wise Id rather use a wet polish spray like the turtle wax trigger pump, spray it on the dead flies and dust, leave for a couple of mins to soften up the grime and insect innards, then wipe off with a clean cloth, then buff your pride and joy; when youve finished that you can polish the car...LOL A car valeter friend cleans his classic vehicles when they are not heavily soilded (ie just dust and flies) by using a modern synthetic chamois leather and water, and wrings out regularly, then goes over again with same chamois, wringing out.

| Has anyone tried any of those "dry wash" car cleaners that do not need water ? Buggered if I can see how they soften and lift the dirt without scratching the surface. Paul |
