Brooklands weekend

Hello guys,

Is anyone going to The British Sportscar Festival at Brooklands this weekend or taking part in the Classic, Kit and Sports Car run from Brooklands to Brighton (on Sunday)?

Dad and I were put off from taking part in the run but we might go along to Brooklands or one of the stopping points, even a blat to Brighton in the Seven if the weather is nice

RE: Brooklands weekend

Hi, Louise
Brooklands is my stomping ground so I will be there all weekend. Hopefully they will open up the hillclimb course like they did last year, its KIN steep! almost burnt out the clutch on my spitfire I took last year (serves me right for not having a properly adjusted handbrake :} and trying to hold a beer between my legs at the same time :9 'never drink and drive, you might spill your pint!'
will be in the cobra this year YEAH!

Looking at the BBC Weather 5 Day Forecast it seems as though Sunday will be the better day... :} ... As usual it will be best to judge it on the day rather than relying on the Met Office!!:OT

I thought I was the only one in the area until a month ago when I saw Nicks machine drive past on my way home from work, Glad to see there are others. I am also very close (New Haw) and will be in attendance on the day that best suites my SVA preperation schedule.

hi Jnex26,
I'm in weybridge so same for me; 1/2 hour walk, 5 min drive. your one would'nt happen to be the green one I once saw parked down portmore park road would it?
I will be there both days if it does not rain, and will probably cruise to a pub for lunch if anyone fancies a quick blat / pint / feed / chat :9
hopefully there will be a few cobs there this year. Would make a cracking photo if we could get a group of us on the old brooklands banking
