RE: Ford 351 Windsor Books Yes, its called anchors away. No seriously I think I saw a Chilterns manual at Rodley motors in Bradford. They do mail order. They also had some of the manuals that come in binders, but they were not cheap and probably more like a dealer workshop manual. Mike.

RE: Ford 351 Windsor Books Hi Mark, I am just starting exactly the same thing myself,'84 351W out of a Galaxy, two books I would really recommend are "How To Build Max Performance V8's On a Budget" by George Reid, ISBN 1-884089-55-0. How to Rebuild Small-block Ford Engines by Tom Monroe, 1SBN 0-912656-89-1 both have a wealth of info (got em of Amazon) Lots of info on tuning etc on s/b's . For parts have a word with Smax (Paul) at Fastco-01772 617506 http://www.smax.co.uk/home.htm I got my motor of him he knows his V8 yank motors :tu :tu :tu :tu :tu Regards Shane GD 351W

RE: Ford 351 Windsor Books Hi Paul, Yes it was me , I think I was one of three that placed orders that day. It's all-ways nice to meet and talk to people that post on here. Got an email of GD this week telling me my chassis is scheduled for early Oct so a bit of time to get organized, got my motor back from the machine shop it's now 30 over and 10/20 on the crank so no worries there. I am debating with myself as to how to tweak the motor, whether to go for the Edelbrock package or match individual parts (I hope to build the engine up to sh/block level before I put it in the chassis) so a decision will have to be made on pistons and cam in relation to future heads and inlet manifold and stuff. Any ideas guys? has any one used various parts from different manufacturers or is it down to a simple decision between Performer or Performer RPM? Regards Shane GD 351W
