Hi Clive

Yes I fancy ago if dry. I was going to go at the begining of the month but it was the Sunday before going to Nurburgring on the Wednesday, so better of it.

Not done a 1/4 mile since putting in a LS engine. My 350 sbc did it in 12.64. Did three runs, all under 13s. First time I had done it, and had only had the car on the road for 3 days...... So are keen to see what the LS will do it in.

Colin

I might be up for that as well, I'm kindof at the stage where I'm done guessing with numbers and want to know what it can really do

as an ex racer, one small piece of advice gents they will have just had two big race meetings there, the euro finals and the national finals and the track will be very sticky to save snapped halfshafts and transmission damage try to stage of the racing line either near the armco or near the tree. the traction will be slightly less but may avoid you using the "4th emergency service"!! this is all only IMHO
have a good day
Steve

We had just the best day out - young brother and I
once again the young (slim) brother has managed to out drag me!!

the car had over a dozen runs and was only beaten by a special drag buggy once! Even took out a lovely TVR Griffith

managed 12.76 sec and 108 mph - still cant get the thing into 4th

the track was universally recond to be very slippery at the start and all the problems were about controlling wheel spin in first. Must try again - as I'm sure theres a 12.5 in there.

If you ever tied to beat someone at the lights - you should give this a go

It was the practice day for the Sunday Jap car event and all the young lads in their 4 wheel turbo's were there - I fact we must have been the only non turbo car there, you cant beat inches!!!!!
