Cobras in surrey and berkshire

Hi guys,

I am in the unfortunate position of not owning a cobra, but in the fortunate position of perhaps being able to buy one shortly. My new business is going well (long may it continue ) and all i really have to do is convince my other half that a cobra makes more financial sense than buying a better house (argument goes somthing like: darling, house prices are dropping, we will only lose money if we move now, Cobra prices don't drop but increase so we wil actually be making a sound financial investment for the future- don't expect it to work but who knows!) To try and convince her i was wondering if any of you guys own a cobra, live within about 45 mins of bracknell, and would be willing to take us out (obviously not at the same time) this sunday (even if it rains!). I am trying to choose between a Dax, GD or AK so i would be very interested in one of those, although any other make would be also be great.

I have asked this before and Kelvin very kindly offered- Kelvin I'm sorry for not taking you up on the offer but life went a little crazy for a while and i never got the chance to get back to you- apologies.

Cheers guys

Jim

p.s. only one rule- scare me silly, don't scare the girlfriend or she'll never say yes {-}

Jim,

I live in Wokingham and work in Bracknell if that's close enough

I'm a bit hectic at the moment but give me a bell on 07957 802286 and we can sort something out.

Cheers

Jim

RE: Cobras in surrey and berkshire

I live in Battersea in south London but am happy to make the effort to pop over and take you for a drive

I have a GD which should be quick enough to scare you when the loud pedal is pressed and happy enough burbling around at low revs to keep your missus happy as well

Does this mean I have to clean it?

Drop me a mail if you are interested .. Weekend of 21st is probably best

Chris

Kelvin,
grins still in place, although fading due to withdrawel of Cobra privaleges, I'm doing a Mr Mum this week while my significant other visits her parents in Germany, so work+kids+school+house etc = no time for cob or le-mans :} :}

But plenty of time to read the site and keep me sane (ish)
