Thumbs up Real cobra (mechanic)

We were parked at a local Derbyshire beauty spot, yesterday, when a bloke came up and commented on the car. It turns out he used to work at AC in Thames Ditton, in his words "general mechanicking", before going on to bigger things in the motor trade in Derbyshire - he has been retired for 11 years now.

He told us all the blokes on the production line were fairly old (compared to him at the time) but extremely skilled. He recalled the testing on the M1, including delivering cars up to an agent in Sheffield. He thought the design of the cobra had never been bettered (we all agree!) and paid us compliments on our AK.

His family were in a hurry to get going so we only had a few minutes chat.
Wish I could have had a bit longer natter.
Nuf Said.
