Cool cobra owners in Cornwall

Hi Guys, have been chatting with some mates of mine who also own cobras and have been thinking of starting a meet in Cornwall. As all the people i have spoken to haven't heard of the Southwest club or say its too far to drive to Exeter. This is a great shame as the Southwest club is great,my idea is to get more owners together and introduce them to the Southwest club, and also giving them a local option of meeting people closer to home.

Thumbs up

Hi Mike. Good Idea. Looking at the map it does seem about 70miles to Exeter so a tad far for a monthly meet. Go ahead and organise something I would suggest you made it a different week to the SW meet so that people could attend both if they wanted.

PM me if you would like to make it official

Hi Chris.
From my place down near Lands End its nearly 120 miles each way. But as I said the reason for this is to get more people aware of Southwest club and to get more owners from my area to come up to Southwest meet. Just to let them know that there are more owners around the area for them to meet up with? As soon as I have more feedback about how many people are interested I can set up a meeting place etc. and get a local club set up. I will keep you informed of developments. (Website under construction)

Talking

Yup its true - we don't get down to Cornwall enough

We did a Cornwall Run earlier in the year courtesy of Steve Basset - which was great fun on a sunny day !!

I do blast out emails of what we are up to on a regular basis - Do you get these - (in other words is my membership list up to date ?).

I do know that it is fair track up to the Exeter area - We must live in the "longest" membership area.

Are your mates members Mike?
