Escort wiring diagrams please?

Hi,

a strange request but I was after a wiring diagram for a ford electric window switch.

The ones I have were described as for:
Ford Escort MK5 Cabriolet (front and rear) and MK6 Cabriolet (rear only on MK6). Will also fit the later MK3 Fiesta in the door pockets.

I think I have rear switches.

The switches I've got have 7 pins. I'm blowed if I can figure out how they can control a motor to run in 2 directions. There doesn't seem to be a switch over on 2 pins without shorting the thing out in the off position.

Perhaps there is a ford website somewhere with this sort of info?

cheers if you can help.

Graham

Wasn't the electric windows on late fords done through the ecu so that there isn't a switch-over in the switch as that's all done electronically at the ecu??

I hope not, I think putting an ECU in might be a bit OTT.

the switch does seem to switch one output but I can't see anyway of switching both without blowing fuses in the off position.....there must be a way.

cheers
