Oil Cooler

Hi

I am looking to purchase an oil cooler and fittings for a 351c engine. I have found a web site www.thinkauto.com that sell all the individual components but I'm not sure what I need. has anyone a list of all the parts that I will need. Many thanks in anticipation (again!!).

Mick

RE: Oil Cooler

Mick,

From my experience of Think Automotive they will already know what you need and be able to suggest options such as the use of a thermostatic switch to stop the oil from being over cooled.

You will need to be able to tell them the length of the pipes you need to have made up.

Give them a phone they are very helpful.

RE: Oil Cooler

You could try giving Flexolite a ring (01684 541941). They sorted out a Ford 302 for a mate of mine and he suggested I go there. He paid about £200 for a complete system (connectors, pipe, the lot) including remote oil filter and cooler. Does this sound a reasonable price?
