Mirrors

Ok now here I probably have the last thing to buy... mirrors
The wing mirrors I have chosen are the windscreen mounted ones, but on past posts I cannot tell if they are sva compliant. I think they have to be at least 40mm high and 700mm long, correct me if I am wrong! and have a good field of view, so I can't see a problem.
The posts I read do not point me to any supplier of these mirrors apart from Europa, who are not the cheapest.

Try S&J Motors in Chorley, Lancs (01257 262881), where I got mine from - not fitted yet, so can't show you a photo of them on. They are made from stainless steel and seem OK - not cheap at around £120 the pair but probably cheaper than Europa.

Ian.

The mirror must also fold in towards the car under a load of 10kg.

Hi Rich, I am aware that the mirrors need to fold in with a diagonal force of 10kg, is this what you mean?
Do those mirrors fit that criterior? I have to ask, I don't know.
cheers

Having contacted the founder member of the Newhall Cobra Club (NCC)
I can verify that S&J mirrors are 120 pound a pair and are SVA compliant and photos can be supplied if required better still pop round and have a look

Regards Alan
