Supercharging

I am thinking about putting a superchaged Rover engine in my Southern Roadcraft. Will I have to modify the bonnet? How can I get around this,if yes?Any other general things I should be aware of with supercharged engines?Thoughts?
Thanks
Steven

RE: Supercharging

No modifications other than a hole for the intake to be fed through from clean air.

It doesn't look any different than a standard GD externally.

RE: Supercharging

Hi Robert,

Having checked out the two web sites, it looks fairly straightforward.

Are these kits available in the UK or is it best to import from the states?.

What sort of cost does adding a s/charger come out at?

regards

TP.

Import from the states.

Depends on the application, design your own ali radiator and intercooler combined and it is a grand plus the VAT. brackets, silicone hoses etc etc etc.

RE: Supercharging

Watch out for the oil seal between the fins and the oil fed bearing, mine has just gone.
