Looks a nice engine, but they all leak, a bit like the cars they come from

I don't know for sure, but isn't DAX the only manufacturer to ever use the Jag V12?

My Cobra is the DAX V12 Tojeiro, but I can't tell from the pictures whether it matches my DAX. I would say £2000 for a body, chassis, engine, gearbox, and all those other bits on display is a very very good deal. The body and chassis alone would be twice that new. With no reserve, I would expect that car to be sold very fast. No doubt the auto box will get dumped for a manual, and maybe the engine for a V8, but still... a great deal for someone.

My first guess would be a Dax because of the V12 but I have a feeling one other manufacturer offered that option; maybe Southern Roadcraft.

That large central bonnet hinge is distinctive and the transmission tunnel looks/is quite wide.

Yeah, but the tunnel width depends on the chassis you choose. My tunnel is very wide because of the backbone design DAX used on supertubes. My bonnet hinge is different from the pictures on ebay, but it could be that DAX has changed it along with the chassis and other things. My hinge is a long tube with two seperate hinge arms (one each side) made of flat steel bar about 4x30mm.

v12 jag

Its not a southern roadcraft (bulkhead to far into the engin bay)
have a look at the inner of the bonnet opening at the front edge, it would appear to have triangler pieces of fibreglass that appear to be part of the original body supplied by the makers (whoever they are) havn't ever seen this before
also looks like new calipers on front brakes (jag I think)

Bonnet scoop isn't right for a Dax neither is the extended GRP towards the front of the bonnet opening.
I think thsis is a b4stardised kit of some sort. The bonnet scoop looks more like an SR to me (Been a while since I've seen one)(Same as a Sumo scoop but set further back). But as said above, it can't all be SR as the Jag V12 won't fit the engine bay. The floor pan is sat on top of the chassis rather than sunken between the rails (Not good if you are over 4' 6" tall and a bit ofr a pain to get the seat belt upper anchorage points through the SVA.
I think someone has maybe made their own chassis ans just used the outer shell from an original kit.

Classic Replicas made/sold quite a number of V12 Vipers but of course arches are wrong for that mark.

was just gonna say that, Ken Cook's viper was a V12. it would have been a nightmare to work on for lack of space!

whoever takes this on would get a good deal just on spares, but would have to be brave and experienced
