What have you got against it? Is it the make or just cos it doesn't look pretty at the moment?
Cheers

see Daves post:

Auto Speciali Cobra on Ebay!!!!!

aparently its some sort of mongrel hybrid thing....bits of different kits etc. Wouldn't touch it with a laser pen across an open minefield infected with scabies. For a start what do you register it as?

For me there is nothing to reccomend it, an unknown chassis, and nonmatching body, dodgy chassis components that will need rework or worse, an obviously much used V12 jag that will cost a fortune to rebuild, and all the expensive bits missing; I have nothing against a less well known kit, a partially built kit or an old kit; but I wouldnt touch an ill conceived assortment of parts that will take more work and money to put right than makes sense. If this is the only cobra somebody can afford, they cant afford one!!!

You could do as we did and with a lot of deduction work out which variety of cob it is. We made up our own chassis number and it all worked out fine. To be fair tho, if i knew what i know now, i would not have bought ours as we did.
As long as you have an engine/gearbox matching you could use V5 from that for age related plate.
Perhaps being a Viper owner i tend to look at kits as half started not 95% of the work to finish it off .
Cheers
Kevin
