Thumbs up

If you guy's like rock blues check-out Joe Bonamassa he's absolutely amazing, he opened for BB King at the age of 13.
I've got tickets for the up & coming tour..........The 3rd time I've seen him live in the last 18 months, he tends to play smaller venues & ticket prices are fairly cheap!

Saw him at Manchester Academy the back end of last year, a great night out & a brilliant guitarist.

Talking

Whilst we're on a 'Kit Car' forum & talking blues guitarists...... I've just finished painting & lacquering a 'Kit Guitar' its a PRS style flame maple body & rosewood neck which comes complete with hardware & strings, all the routing & drilling is done which just requires paint & putting together.
For the money I don't expect it to be top quality but it gives me something to tinker with over the winter months while the cobra is sorn,d...... roll on spring/summer 08!

Hi Steve
Going on the serials its 77-78 era 22" Base 16" floor tom 13" and 14" bass mounted toms, so four piece to go with my black brass shelled 14x 6.5 balck beauty (gorgeous snare with a really penetrating sound).
I love the sound of the older kits, and of those acrylic shells; you just have to be a bit careful not to scratch or crack them (although youd do well to do that playing them; John Bonham played (amber) vistalites in the Moby Dick era!!!
I'm searching out some period ludwig stands and paiste 602 cymbals; going all retro so sold my Yam 9000 (although kept my electronic yam kit for practice without driving everyone deaf!!)
Heres a pic of the shells I've bought, and the snare Im going to use with them (although might add a blue vistalite snare if one turns up).
