What do you make of this

1965 AC Cobra on eBay, also, Other Cars, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 20-Jan-08 20:31:26 GMT)

Says it's a 1965 AC Cob!

"This is not a cheap replica based on a donor car, but a true rocket with great US engineering and attention to detail"

I think the Trade Descriptions Act applies here?

If it aint a replica my names Foo Manchu

Second line of the description says "replica" ....So Foo, I'll have a number 53 and egg fried rice to go.

Hi Foo Manchu,
The description is correct!

It isn't a "cheap replica"............................. It's an expensive one!

another ebay lemon

This is a california car- imported and kept in the south of france- all duties have been paid and it will be sold on US or french plates
-so you cant view it

A truly great replica of this timeless classic-ahem..

Incredible 2x4 tube powder coated frame-incredibly rusty in the pics

413HP 351CI race motor by JBA race engines.Holley 4 barrel carb, edelbrock manifold.

4-speed Top loader tremec 3550 transmission with shatter guard-two gearboxes eh, clever stuff, maybe its 4 wheel drive... and 'shatter guard' not scatter shield?? Me thinks this guys account has been hijacked??

Jag independent rear suspension-correct, from a donor...

Original style knock-off wheels-that you cant even see in the pics as theyre so dark

This is not a cheap replica based on a donor car, but a true rocket with great US engineering and attention to detail-hoho its and expensive replica based on very poor attention to detail...

With only 3,425 miles, this car is in excellent condition-from 300 yds

I can help with transport back to the uk-how does one view it or is he expecting people to buy it sight unseen???

When did Shelby sign that POS, in the dark or during one of his heart ops???

Its been a good week for ebay lemons hasnt it!!!

Hi Guys,

Sorry to hijack the post but I have a quick question for Jgfabs; The picture you have on your signature thingy, (the black cobra) is that your motor? If not does anyone know whose it is? Reason I ask is that picture first motivated me to build my replica after many years contemplating a build - as im sure youll agree its a great looking car. if it is yours Jgfabs, (sorry I dont have your first name) I would love to see some more pics, (PM me if you like).

Regards,
Martyn
