Image wheels

Hi,

I have 18" Image halibrands. 3 piece (split rim) and the rim is polished.

Today I have taken one of the back wheels off and cleaned both sides to get all the grime and road salt off.

I cleaned the polished (uncoated?) rim with autosol and it has made it look great.

I have now applied a wheel wax to the wheels: Turtlewax Extreme Wheel Wax 500ml from Halfords Price £6.49

but I wondered what else I can do to help protect the polished (uncoated) metal?

Is it possible to get a permanent coating professionally applied for example?

Thanks

Paul

Paul - if you took them apart, you could get the rims clear anodised.

That is about all SFAIK.

Image can put a coating on them, about £15 per wheel. Tinka has it done and it it looks good, completely impervious to road salt etc (I think)

Just had a quick check, it's ceramic clear coat
