Do what I did Kurrmet. Select all the messages you want to keep then download them them as a text file. Once you've done that, you can delete some messages until below your limit and PM Robert.

This year I paid by cheque, I did not realise there was a difference/added benefits to paying online??? Is there a benefit to the Forum if we renew online, if there is I am all for it, but did not know!!

What can I do to rectify my new "lowly" status?

Robert,Am I to understand that even though I renewed my subscription last month via cheque i am now not going to have the forum priveliges that i had up to today.Do i have to join the forum club to reinstate these.(Another £26.00)Whilst i don,t mind paying, its bloody annoying for a new person joining. In Snaketorque ,maybe this should be highlighted that on the forum your status is second class!Regards Jim

Rob m8, is there anything that can be done with my forum status. Renewed last moth by cheque and have been a subscribed club member since Jan 1994? ( well it took the Club from Nov 93 to sort the application ) Bit of a pig to have to cough up again.

I can't remember how I paid but my membership runs to Oct '08.

Not sure I understand about this extra £1 to use the forums.

Hope this can be resolved quickly.

Cheers.

Andi.

Seems to be a trend of opinion forming here? I have been a member for a couple of years now and this is the first time I renewed by cheque, had it in my mind from something last year about the "Forum" becoming a distinct entity from the "Club"

I am glad it is not just me that did not realise there are still benefits from joining online.

Is that why it costs an extra £1 ????

Have no qualms at all about forking out a bit extra to the Forum admin

I thought that World pay take a fee for using their services. Therefore if it costs us £26 online the club probably gets £25 and World pay take the spare quid.

Unless there's extra admin involved for online joining?

Craig.

I don't have a problem with a pound but a change half way through membership is a bit of a shock
